Intern Spotlight: James Aigner
September 19, 2025
A rising senior at the University of Washington, James Aigner spent this summer interning with our Southend Industrial Team: Jeff Forsberg, Arie Salomon, Connor Powell, Bret Matysik, and Luke Jarvis. Not only a Real Estate major, James attained his license this summer as well, giving him the opportunity to work even more directly with the team and their listings.
Among his responsibilities during his internship, James played a key role in managing and cleaning up the Southend Team’s CRM, improving efficiency and helping keep everyone organized. He went door-to-door finding new leads and personally marketed the team’s properties to potential tenants, as well as engaging in cold calling, property tours, running research projects and surveys to identify available spaces.
James’s initiative and work ethic helped the team uncover opportunities and better serve clients. “We’re grateful for the energy and fresh perspective he brought to the team!” Luke said on the internship. We wish James all the best as he completes his final year of school, and look forward to seeing his future successes.
Before his final week, James reflected on his experience this summer:
How did you first learn about NAI?
Having the president as your mom makes the application process pretty straightforward! How have you applied your major through your internship?
Working with some of the same people I shared a classroom with in our office. What is the most valuable thing you have learned at NAI PSP?
Connect and follow up with EVERYONE you meet, even if they gave you a firm "no" or "not interested" You never know if they will circle back as a future client, or as a friend.Describe working at NAI PSP in 3 words.
Experienced, Trusted, Leaders. What is your favorite building in the Puget Sound Region?
The "Wave" building near the stadiums. I think it's pretty cool to be able to watch a Seahawks or Sounders game from your outdoor apartment balcony. What’s your hidden talent?
I can name just about every starting player in Major League baseball on any team.Tell us about the weirdest job you’ve ever had.
I got the opportunity to coach a 12 year old select baseball team at 18 years old with my best friend. We didn’t really know what we were getting ourselves into and we weren't very good.
