Bellevue Office (HQ)

Suite 1500
Bellevue, WA 98004

After beginning his commercial real estate career in 2004 at Colliers, John joined the Bellevue office of NAI PSP in 2008. Since that time he has consistently ranked amongst the top producers in the company and was invited to become a Partner in the firm in 2015. Known primarily as an industrial specialist, working with both property and business owners alike, the majority of John’s time is spent cultivating relationships in and around Seattle’s 55 million square feet of close-in office/warehouse and flex/production space.

Rising e-commerce demands, Port activity, and last-mile warehousing continue to drive interest from institutional players in what has historically been known as a locally-owned “mom and pop” submarket. Consequently, John’s diverse client list includes both local and national groups such as Principal, Recology, Prologis, REDCO Development, Carlyle Group, Urban Visions, Rainier Pacific Investment and TransWest. In 2014, he represented Panattoni and Prudential in a joint venture acquisition of the former WA State Liquor Control Board facility. The subsequent redevelopment and lease-up of that project was the first of its kind in the close-in Seattle market and was awarded NAIOP’s Deal of the Year. John has also received recent recognition on NAI Global Top Producer’s list.

The Seattle market is dynamic and it’s likely the creative and forward-thinking way in which John approaches his business that clients appreciate the most. He takes pride in the role that one broker can play in addressing today’s challenges and what will be tomorrow’s demands from tenants and landlords in the local real estate landscape.

Professional accomplishments notwithstanding, it’s the emphasis John places on character and accountability that are unique, striving for an “others before self” approach to each interaction. In his opinion, that is the simplest way to create value for the client.

John resides in Bellevue with his wife and three children. When he has a chance to escape family and professional duties, he diligently maintains his artificially low golf handicap, dreams of Palm Springs during Seattle’s 6 months of Winter, and occasionally pretends he’s an F1 driver on any uncongested back roads.
